Save the date and time!!! Wednesday November 17, 6pm Pacific, 9pm Eastern! My guest on The John Smart Show (Man, I hate that title. Someone PLEASE come up with one that works) is Lance Corporal Jeff Key, USMC …
Jeff is a Marine, playwright, Iraq War Vet, peace activist, founder of The Medahi Foundation, true patriot, and a Southern gentleman. His play “The Eyes of Babylon”opens in New York this Spring. The documentary Semper Fi, tells his intriguing story. He and his husband, Adam, live in Salt Lake City.
Jeff’s Veterans Day blog entry is here. Read it.
Tune in! This Wednesday! Or else you are in big trouble with the man upstairs!….Who, in my case, is a nice Italian bear of a guy named Peter. He will refuse to cook for you if you don’t listen to my show…this is a painful punishment, trust me… he’s only one generation removed from Sicily and he knows his lasagnas.

And he’s good looking. I’ll listen.
How about “Smart Talk” for the show name?
true scoutt – but what is i want to be silly? which happens to me quite often….
ugh!
I guess it depends on how you define “smart.”
Definition #3 covers about everything…

I think Smart Talk is cool.
I vote for “Smart Talk” too—-it does resonate with the Urban Dictionary’s definition of “smart.” Check out PJ’s website link—-under #3 definition’s of “smart,” #13. Perfect!
Yes, I go with Smart Talk also.
You want silly?

do not miss this Obama needs to announce he is not seeking re-election now.

Reading that commentary was like finding a bubble of sanity in a sea of despair.
Unfortunately, I wonder if the publication of such an idea could be counterproductive, given the ego we’re talking about here.
I liked the suggestion in the headline BUT I do not like the ideas for compromise the writers propose. They want Obama to toughen his stance AGAINST seniors and AGAINST the working class:
“Challenges such as boosting economic growth and reducing the deficit are easier to tackle if you’re not constantly worrying about the reactions of senior citizens, lobbyists and unions.”
What they are talking about here is cutting Social Security and Medicare and making it harder for working people to make economic progress.
Those are NOT suggestions I like at all.
Well, I’m also overlooking the notion that anything will make this person a ‘great President’. That’d be like making styrofoam ‘delicious’. Ain’t gonna happen, the molecules simply aren’t there.
duck, I agree. Here’s the money statement: “Obama could then go to the Democrats for tough cuts to entitlements and look to the Republicans for difficult cuts on defense.”
No cuts on the wealthy are even being considered here. This is yet another continuation on the meme that the repeal of the Bush tax cuts will save the economy. Uggh … supply side economics has been proved NOT to work !!!
Oh, I get it, these are Fox News contributors … .http://www.newshounds.us/2010/11/14/fox_news_democrats_schoen_and_caddell_urge_obama_not_to_run_in_2012.php
How about “Smart Liberal” or “Liberal Reality” (you know, introduce your program at the beginning by saying “Welcome to Reality”)? Your program tonight was very interesting; I enjoyed it much!!
I mean the program on the website (the 10th’s show). My bad…..
“Reality Bytes”
I like it, PJ. Maybe John will too….
How about Liberal Reality Bites? I like your suggestion of saying “Welcome to Reality” than he can further “we knew Obama was a fraud, and so is this NEW Dem Party.”
Can’t wait to hear the archives!
I like it Fembots. I’m anxiously awaiting the archives too.
