Insta- pocalypse. After spasms of resistance to Instagram I’ve discovered the true appeal. It isn’t instant faux nostalgia – it’s instant dystopia. And lonely dystopia at that. Took a bunch of instagram shots on a long Saturday walk. Far from feelings of warmth, the snaps passed though Instagram feel more like warnings. Posted one shot yesterday…here’s another.
It never ceases to amaze me how many followers of Christ are unfamiliar with his teachings.

Matthew 26;35
Christ said : for I was ahungered and ye gave me meat. I was thirsty and ye gave me drink. I was a stranger and ye took me in, naked and ye clothed me , I was sick and ye visited me, I was in prison and ye came unto me
Then the righteous answered him saying” Lord, when did we see thee a hungerded, and fed thee?or thirsty and gave thee drink? When saw we thee a stranger and took you in ? or naked and clothed thee? or when saw we thee sick or in prison and came unto thee?”
And the Lord said unto them” Verily I say unto you , in as much as ye have done it unto the one of the least of my brethren , ye have done it unto me
Now it would read in part …
ye cannot afford a drink, so verily ye are there fore mandated to pay a fine unto you
Ah, so the appeal of Instagram is malaise-confirmation? Wow.
I like the part where Jesus kills the herd of pigs.
i like instagram because it is like having mini photoshop in your pocket or purse… it is just fun to be able to be a little creative at any moment of the day.
