Andrew Suillivan Is A Racist And A Moron…

…and I don’t think he realizes he’s either. Sullivan, on This Week, this week, claimed that if Virginia and Florida switch back to the GOP in November then “It’s the confederacy.” Which means essentially nothing since Jimmy Carter and Ronald Reagan and Richard Nixon and FDR won the “confederacy” as well. Watch the clip. He’s pulling out what ever race cards he has left up his ass. He then is forced to unpack this inanity by George Will and essentially pushes the argument that white 2008 Obama voters in those 2 states who’ll switch to Romney this time became racist (again?) over the course of the last 4 years.

Note that this condescension to white voters (who don’t actually think and decide in Sullivan’s world.)  is the cousin of how the rich white Left looks at black Americans, who are analyzed and discussed through the prism of a rich white liberal narrative as if they don’t think either.

At their core Sullivan’s assumptions about white voters are, of course, racist. Sullivan doesn’t see people. He sees skin color, then jumps to conclusions. White swing voters in 2012 are NOT making decisions based on their outlook, opinions or concerns. They are polling for Romney because he’s white. Ignore how they voted in 2008 please. It doesn’t work in the current plot.

I’d like to interject here the point I’ve been making for years: Obama POD PEOPLE like Sullivan are deranged. Sullivan, like most Obama Pod People, can accept that Obama makes performance mistakes or communication mistakes but simply can not allow any argument against him on qualifications or his ability to govern. It’s not possible for any white voter to be disappointed with Obama. The only explanation possible is latent racism. This belief is constricted and false to the point of being a neurosis lilting over into a psychosis. It’s like trying to logically prove to an asylum resident that he’s not Napoleon. A thousand pale-faced Obama 08 voters could look Sullivan in the eye, logically go point by point with their reasons for voting Romney this time using facts, charts, bar graphs – the works. Sullivan would only see racism. It is deranged.

Sullivan is deranged.

Of course, for Romney supporters his mental fart is good news. The idiocy he pulled out of his arse today is a sure sign they know they’re in trouble. Because of Obama Pod People like Sullivan the race card is now a very tired bad joke told at the dinner table by a crazy uncle with bad breath. Eye rolls ensue. Followed – eventually –  by someone losing it and screaming “SHUT THE F#@* UP ALREADY! WE’VE HEARD THIS SHIT FOR 4 YEARS AND IT’S FALSE AND OFFENSIVE!”

If we lived in the horribly racist country the rich, liberal left insists still exists everywhere we would NEVER have elected a half black man named Barack Hussein Obama in the first place. That’s a fact.

Reminds me of Chicken Little – “The Sky is Falling! The Sky is Falling” and it was just an acorn. Amazingly enough this is a bumper year for acorns in south Texas. I guess we must all be racists.

  2. NoEmptySuits says:

    Hah, JWS, GMTA!

    Tweeted this earlier today:

    (h/t Tamerlane and JWS)

  3. NoEmptySuits says:

Gang: If you tweet this post, please remember to insert Andrew Sullivan’s twitter handle in your message, so that he gets it. His twitter handle is @sullydish

  4. An odious, small man. Just like Obama.

  5. Can you imagine what a dinner is like with Sullivan, Lawrence O’Donnell and Chris Matthews?
Just the visual is enough to make you fast for a month.

All self-aggrandizing white-liberal-richer-than-god arbiters of other people’s motives when it comes to objective criticism of Obama’s policies or personalities, all revolving around race and talking over each other. For dessert they have misogyny.

    • So true. But they’re even tired of identity politics. Sullivan is the perfect example. His identity issues are so freaking paramount, but he mocks other identity issues. That’s why misogyny tastes so sweet to him. Those silly, whining-ass women can just get back in the kitchen, the men have got some marrying each other to do. It’s practically a trend among some gay men these days.

    • S-Angeltour says:

when you think about it, Sullivan and Matthews are actually insulting O…they don’t respect him as a man…they begin by reducing him by defining O in racist terms…and then they have to keep making excuses for him and protecting and explaining for him…

JWS…hits the nail on the head…Sullivan and Matthews see everything in racist terms…they are obsessed…me thinks the doth ‘project’ too much…

JWS’s exclamation in caps says it all…

      What are you talking about?

And how ironic that you stick that in the middle of a comment deriding identity politics.

I do wonder about this possibility: Romney wins the popular vote which seems more and more likely, but somehow Obama manages to squeak by in Ohio holds WI and MI and wins the EC getting a 2nd term. Imagine an Obama 2nd term after he’d lost the popular vote. Chaos. Esp with Benghazi brewing in the mix.

It’s increasingly hard to see Romney losing the popular vote nationally. Knee capping MR at this point would take a stunning revelation…I don’t doubt “something” will come out at the end of the week but doubt it will be big enough.

Sandy adds something to the mix as well. BHO really must handle this week with expertise and competence re: the storm. If the federal response is like Clinton after Andrew – it could save Obama. If it’s Katrina – he’s toast.

Lordy, I am enjoying this cycle. So many plot twists.

    • conner43 says:

I don’t know much about Ohioans, but i think it’s safe to assume that Ohio is still in the U,S., and on Planet Earth, most states don’t exist in a vacuum, I don’t see how their voters could be all that different from others in the Mid West Rust Belt, great people, lousy economies. . Tamer may laugh, but I think the polling methodology in Ohio is skewed differently from the surrounding states. It feels as if they only poll in Cleveland. As I recall, even McCain did not do too badly in Ohio.

    • Kris says:

Hurricane sandy just adds to the sense of gloom. In this country. Think it only contains downsides for Obama, and no upsides. He is toast, and his desperation — going on MTV for example, confirms he is in trouble.

    • NoEmptySuits says:

      What Connor and Kris said.

John, Romney’s ahead in OH by 2, per a Rasmussen poll of yesterday (published today). Also, Romney’s ahead (by more than the margin of error) in the average of batlleground states, per a poll of Sat. (?) of this bipartisan polling entity called Battleground. This is all by saying that the possibility of O winning the EC and Romney the popular vote is becoming more remote with every passing day (which doesn’t mean the MSM won’t be pushing the meme, of course).

    • tamerlane says:

There’s about 5 things you could impeach that mofu on. If the Gops win the Senate, we’re looking at President Biden.

    • kanaughty says:

seriously, if we end up with president biden, the united states would end up the ultimate joke of the world. no one will ever take us seriously ever again… i can’t believe that gaffe machine is our vp…

  8. conner43 says:

I just can’t take Andrew seriously. And Matthews ?..A sad end to a mediocre career that gave him financial riches that far exceeded his abilities.

    • pghpuma says:

Ironic that Rudy Giulanni was ridiculed for bringing up 9 11, yet Matthews has made a fortune reminding us of his (very) early work for Tip O’Neal and bHO works Killing Bin Ladin like it’s a whole deck wrap’d up in an Ace

  9. LonelyLiberal says:

Ol’ Milky Loads always has it hard for those military Daddy types: McCain…Bush…Obama.
Those drones give him such a thrill…..

  10. S-Angeltour says:

another thing I have to get off my chest regarding all the ‘racism’ talk coming out of the democratic party these days…

you never hear one word out of Matthews, Sullivan, or the whole cast over at MSNBC and the rest of pro O cable about:

…all the actual death threats that have been targeted at Mitt Romney, death threats that the FBI are now monitoring…

…never hear one peep from the democrats about all the vile racist comments from O supporters all over the internet and on twitter about MR and anyone that dares not support O (cracker this, cracker that and much, much worse)

…never one peep from the pro-O media and Matthews and Sullivan about the elderly military hero whose multiple Romney signs and american flags were burned on his property and then the vandals painted Obama for President on his driveway

…never one peep from Sullivan or Matthews about the cars that were vandalized and keyed with Obama’s name on them…

ALL we hear are the endless attacks on anyone that dares criticize or not support O

What happened to the sense of fairness that was supposed to represent the Democratic party?

Oh, that’s right…it dissolved when O came on the scene back in 2007 and the democrats did, in fact, become the most vocal and obnoxious misogynists against Hillary and her supporters…

The Democratic party died with O

    • NoEmptySuits says:

Yes, it’s now the Obamacrat Party. That said, it could come back once the KoolAid fever passes.

  11. NoEmptySuits says:

Any commenter here in the path of Sandy? (PMM, are you?) Stay safe and dry.

  12. run_dmc says:

They really are losing their minds. Just when you think Obama supporters can’t get creepier, they issue this “children of the corn” video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fwlW4lx6TTo

Dead polar bears and poisoned air? And, they are supposed to blame their parents? But, Obama – he of $5 trillion in debt that they’ll be paying – is their hero? Ughhhhh. Insanity!

    • run_dmc says:

Funny comment on this on one conservative posting:

“Are they remaking ‘Village of the Damned?’”

Yes, they’re going to call the remake, “‘It Takes a Village to Raise the Damned’”

    • NoEmptySuits says:

So, if reelected, maybe he’ll launch a Cultural Revolution, using the kiddies. “Turn your parents in for voting for Romney!!” will be their charge.

  13. S-Angeltour says:

apropos to what JWS opened with…

some one needs to twitter this to Andrew Sullivan and Chris Matthews…(i don’t tweet)

these people feel taken for granted…they know what is going on and they are fed up…
video clip with multiple interviews of Chicago inner city individuals…

  14. Anonymous says:

One week out from the polls, and Romney is up in Gallup by +5. There is no way the electoral college can split from the popular vote, if the popular vote margin is 2% or more. The panic in the lame stream media, and the increasingly vitriolic attacks by obama and his army of racist obamaots, suggests the sweet stench of desperation.

    • Kris says:

That was me, Kris above. the cult of obama is a small group of fervent, rabid believers. their intensity manifested itself in the caucuses (where they went to great lengths — including voter fraud) to guarenatee obama’s wins. In the primaries, hillary cleaned obama’s clock. I believe obama’s support is a mile wide and only a few inches deep. The cultists are going to be on suicide watch come Nov 7.

  15. AngelasmithAngelasmith says:

I’m watching the Benghazi coverage with fascination. Quite an opportunity to see the whole political/press dance in action. (not to ignore the actual tragedy or actual real implications of the attack) But damn, what an opportunity to see the BS at work and all the interests (including those who actually just want the truth to come out).
It’s like a freakin Shakespeare play.
The msm as it works to suppress the story entirely is just funny (in a kind of macabre humor way) the best (worst– whatever) bit was the guy interviewing McCain when McCain brought up Benghazi … The interviewer steered him to sandy immediately then backpedaled to Benghazi cause of McCain sound bite that it was worse than watergate (nobody died in watergate)… Then back to sandy then back to Benghazi. Seems like reporters bosses couldnt decide who they wanted for president. Want Romney (talk about Benghazi. Want Obama (talk about sandy). Poor media, so heavy lays the mantle of power upon them.

  16. Anthony says:

A little breezy, shall we say, here in New York. The front of a building was blown off in Chelsea (8th Ave & 14th St). Fucking Sandy…..

    Here’s pics: http://www.businessinsider.com/major-building-collapse-in-manhattan-at-8th-and-14th-street-2012-10#ixzz2AjTAf3vg
