Where I Am

Sorry to have gone silent this week. Don’t mean to be rude to those who faithfully come by. Life is demanding focus off current events at the moment, which not a bad thing at all.

And, of course, if someone has something to say send it to burlington6@gmail.com

Having said that: How horrifying is this?

  1. Such a horrifying video, John. We must, collectively, be positive, think positively and cause any form of violence – physical, mental, emotional or spiritual become foreign to us before our sick society can change into a healthy conglomerate of humans.

In case anyone missed the allusion, and thought I was snarking:

    As i walk through
    This wicked world
Searchin’ for light in the darkness of insanity.

    I ask myself
    Is all hope lost?
Is there only pain and hatred, and misery?

And each time i feel like this inside,
There’s one thing i wanna know:
What’s so funny ’bout peace love & understanding? ohhhh
What’s so funny ’bout peace love & understanding?

    And as i walked on
    Through troubled times
My spirit gets so downhearted sometimes
    So where are the strong
    And who are the trusted?
    And where is the harmony?
    Sweet harmony.

’cause each time i feel it slippin’ away, just makes me wanna cry.
What’s so funny ’bout peace love & understanding? ohhhh

Your comments made me think of that number, sometimes it helps to remember that it was written long before anyone had ever heard of BHO.
