   I agree with all of your points but I don’t see much by way of reform with all the money that is floating around by special interests.

   I see “change” happening when the following takes place:

   1. The number of women dying or maimed for life due to back alley abortions as the “right to privacy” is dissolved.
   2. The number of people dyiing or made severely ill when “deregulation” of the food industry becomes law.
   3. When clean drinking water is impossible to find as a result again of deregulation.
   4. When “smog” alerts come back into fashion as the air becomes dirtier once again.
   5. When our children are no longer able to globally compete owing to budget cuts in education across the board along with the lack of science teachers that lay the foundation.
   6. When kids begin to die due to the inability to afford healthcare.
   7. When the elderly are forced into the streets through privatization of social security and lack of medical treatment.
   8. When the minimum wage is determined by the employer and a 60 hour work week is considered the “norm”.
   9. When securing a job is dependent upon your religion, race, and sexual orientation.
   10. When hundreds of people fall from the sky to their death due to the dereguation of the airline industry.
   11. When enough privatization of the police and firefighters leaves you at the mercy of having your “fees” paid up in full.
   12. When wars are declared owing to a “message from god”.
   13. When the politicians begin to wear the name of their corporate sponsor on their sleeve.

   This is where we are heading is we really pay attention to what is being proposed. Perhaps then, if we have any strength left, the “revolution” will begin.
